The aluminium ring is coated with a special "mixture" of ceramic and tourmaline that keeps the hairdryer's heat constant and uniform. When heated by the jet of air, the tourmaline becomes a natural source of negative ions that neutralise the hair's electrostatic charge. The negative ions transform water molecules into microparticles that penetrate the hair, hydrating it. The cuticles close perfectly, making the hair soft and silky. Tourmaline is also a source of infrared rays that penetrate the hair, accelerating drying without damaging its structure.
