Little and Big Louise Bourgeois

Louise Bourgeois was born in Paris in 1911. She learned to weave and paint in the tapestry restoration workshop run by her mother. She spent part of her childhood caring for her ailing mother. The sense of loss following her death inspired her work. as an artist. She studied art and was noted for her talent as a painter and printmaker. Fernand Léger saw something special in her work and encouraged her to explore three-dimensional objects. She moved to New York, where she began her artistic career that lasted for more than sixty years. She is considered one of the most outstanding sculptors in the world.
