Oud is a scented organic hand cream made from pure plant fats. Once the host tree is attacked by a certain type of mould, it secretes resin to defend itself, darkening the virgin wood. From this darkness the coveted oud oil is extracted by steam distillation; generously woody with resinous peaks.
