This formula is designed to provide a sunless tan, offering a natural and even colour to the skin. The water base (AQUA) ensures a smooth and light application, ideal for fast and effective absorption. The main active ingredient, DIHYDROXYACETONE (DHA), is responsible for reacting with the proteins in the outer layer of the skin, producing a temporary tan without the need for sun exposure. POLYSORBATE 20 acts as an emulsifier, facilitating the uniform mixing of the aqueous and oily components, while GLYCERIN, a humectant, helps retain moisture in the skin, ensuring that the product not only tans but also moisturizes. The preservative system composed of PHENOXYETHANOL and ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN protects the product against microbial growth, guaranteeing its safety and stability during use. PARFUM adds a pleasant fragrance to enhance the application experience. The formula includes LECITHIN and PHOSPHATIDYLCHOLINE, lipids that improve the texture of the product and can aid the penetration of other ingredients into the skin. SODIUM METABISULFITE acts as an antioxidant and preserving agent. Colorants (CI 15985, CI 16035, and CI 42090) are added to adjust the tone of the product, ensuring that the tan looks natural on different skin tones. CITRIC ACID adjusts the pH of the formula to make it more compatible with the skin, while COUMARIN provides a light vanilla scent, adding to the sensory experience of the product.
