Jasmine of the Country

My devotion to jasmine stems from my childhood in Grasse. When I was little, I used to harvest jasmine at dawn, picking the white porcelain flowers one by one, their scent was green, transparent and intoxicating. At midday, the last of the last white petals gave off a warm orange blossom scent. At night, the forgotten flowers, now yellowed, emanated a happy, deep animal fragrance. If their perfume was given rhythm by the time of day, then their nature never changed. Admiring this work of nature was my inspiration to imagine perfume in a different way, to play with its elements and change its effects to make it unique and forever Jasmine. Jean Claude Ellena.
